Robert Palmer

oh, I did kind of guess, if I am accurately reading your successive posts. if it makes you feel better, it is now totally in my head and will be for days. I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong (besides allowing Robert Palmer songs to exist in your psyche, and who amongst us isn’t guilty of that?)

yogisarah:

I wish it was, that was a much better song (as far as Robert Palmer songs can be consider “better”) although not as good as “I didn’t mean to turn you on.”

It’s hard to admit what song it is because I like to think that I’m immune to the stuff.  Oh yeah.

oldauntamy:

Was it “the proof is irrefutable, oooh-oooh-oooh-oooh-oooh-oooh”?

yogisarah:

Often, when thinking about my life, or some aspect of my life, and a song lyric pops into my head describing the situation.  I think this is a fairly common experience, right?  As I was leaving home to drive to work this morning I was thinking about the way I’ve been feeling lately and suddenly a ridiculously apt lyric popped into my head.  Then, my feeling immediately turned to shame and I even became somewhat frightened because the lyric was from a song by ROBERT PALMER.  When I got to work I googled the lyrics and read the whole song and it was as if he-of-the-fake-band-of-hot-ladies-wearing-black-dresses-with-red-lipstick was speaking directly to me.

I’m not going to disclose to the two of your reading this what song it was but you may be able to guess if you know me well.  This just seems wrong though.  I must be doing something wrong.
